“I am by nature a dealer in words, and words are the most powerful drug known to humanity”

– Rudyard Kipling

Which means you’ll usually find me hunched over, brow furrowed, mashing up words intended to move you, excite you, and (hopefully) cause you to laugh your ass off.

My business card says “freelance travel writer & editor” but I prefer to think of myself as a gypsy with a laptop.

On any given day you might find me hurtling along a zip line in the Costa Rican jungle or eating two dinners in one night in the name of a review (#toughlife, I know); filing stories and blog posts for newspapers and magazines, travel companies and tourism boards.

I also help businesses transform their content from boring to badass, and make digital products like this one under my copywriting moniker The Devil Wears Flip Flops. When I’m not out exploring, I’m usually at the co-working space I co-built, on the Sunshine Coast.

Not all those who wander are lost
